Introducing
A membership to empower parents with Mathematical concepts and resources to help their 5-7 year old children develop a keen interest and strong foundation in Math.
We create fun and hands-on games for your children, teach you how to include Math conversations in everyday life, and provide positive learning experiences for you and your children.
If you want to help your 5 to 7 year olds enjoy and excel in Mathematics,
we are here to help.
Do you know that:
A weak foundation will make future learning a lot more difficult, and kids might be spending more time to catch up rather than enjoy the learning process
Children will most likely excel in Math when they are passionate and interested about the subject
Children process information and store them in their long-term memory much more effectively when dopamine is released during fun experiences!
See how our little CTD detectives are having fun while learning!
Because children learn best while having fun: reinforce children's Math concepts through games - your child will solve puzzles in our self-designed Be a Math Detective game
Play ideas and resources for parents to engage their children so that children can understand Math concepts through the use of Math manipulatives
A monthly Zoom live sharing and a private Facebook Group community for parents to share their challenges, wins and learn from guest speakers
Structured, bite-sized concept video lessons will be uploaded to the learning portal for parents to pick up knowledge, questioning techniques, updated changes in new Math syllabus and learning goals of each topic. Expect a new topic every month! With this knowledge, parents can carry out Math conversations to make Math less intimidating
A set of Brain Builders handouts for children to practise and review their concepts. The differentiated practices are catered for children of different learning abilities. Parents can then provide feedback and offer clarifications
Receive bonuses and resources such as book recommendations, songs, posters, stories etc
"I like that the curriculum is rich in contents and not just fluff - making it worthwhile for the subscription paid.
I can really see the teacher side of you both behind all the planning of curriculum. It is systematic and legit teaching and introducing math concepts, and yet scaling it down to preschoolers and making the process fun and light hearted! It is really good!!"
- Mummy Christina
"I like the emphasis on daily math conversations."
Number sense need to be developed from young, and it is most effective through daily math conversations.Connect The Dots is really on track! I love the daily Math conversations part. You two ladies are really doing great stuff with lots of heart and hard work!"
- Mummy Li Xian, principal of a Montessori Preschool

We asked for anonymous feedback from our members - here is what they say:
As a math educator for more than 10 years, I have seen my students struggle with higher level Math simply because they did not have a good foundation in Math concepts. They lack the ability to develop metacognitive skills and are not taught the methods to visualise and think about Math.
To ensure that children are prepared for high level Math, it is vital to cultivate that passion for Math at a young age.
And it is not by sending your children to dreary weekly Math tuition classes.
It is by YOUR conversations with your children EVERYDAY.
"But I am not a teacher, how can I teach my kids?"
My friend, you don't have to be a Math teacher to make Math meaningful to your children! You don't have to take over the job of his Math teacher in school
You can:
* Enhance the Math experience at home by making use of everyday learning opportunities to discover and explore Math
* Guide your children through the use of household items and Math manipulatives to strengthen their conceptual understanding
* Support them with their school work with your improved understanding of the updated syllabus and common misconceptions of Math at preschool and Primary School level
"I like the flexibility of using the handouts and resources at my own time.
The handouts are really creative and it covers lots of aspect. Also love the variety of activities. Colouring, hands on stuff and book recommendations. Awesome!"
- Mummy Rabitha
The new 2021 Math syllabus focuses on developing
* critical math processes that foster 21st century competencies (such as critical and inventive thinking, communication, collaboration and information skills)
* greater awareness of big ideas in Math
* metacognition to promote self-directed learning and reflection.
These will be our focuses as well, to help your child be more confident and creative in solving Math problems
We are targeting children aged 5 to 7 years old. The activities we suggest can easily be modified for children of different ages. We also provide practices that are categorized into level 1, 2, and 3 with varying difficulties. Feel free to drop us a message to share with us your child's challenges and we will advise accordingly.
The resources are presented in a structured, spiral approach so children build on their prior knowledge and form connections to make learning meaningful. Our activities are designed with the brain in mind - which means we create activities, share play ideas and manipulatives that considers how our brain processes information. This is how children learn effectively.
You will need some Math manipulatives that will provide a concrete learning experience for your children from K1 to Primary Six. Research has shown that children learn much better through hands-on activities. You can either buy them yourself - I will provide a list for you - or I can help you buy the required manipulatives as a package.
Yes you need to set aside time to watch the bite-sized videos, but you can access the resources at your own time (as long as you remain a member in good standing), according to your child's pace. You will have to guide your children through the activities (if they need help) and carry out daily conversations with your children about Math and what they learnt. You will receive a new piece of content each week, so I estimate that you have to invest 15 - 30 minutes per week, and your children will reap the rewards as they enjoy and find meaning in Math, through you :)
Yes you can. There will be no refunds for early cancellation. After you cancel, you will still enjoy your membership benefits till the next renewal date, after which the membership will expire, and you will lose access to the content and resources. This applies to all three plans - 3, 6 and 12 months.
The membership will automatically renew - no action is required on your part. If you wish to upgrade to a longer-term plan and enjoy some savings, you can reach out to us via email and we can help you with that.
